Parrot regularly releases firmware updates for FreeFlight8 application, Drone, Smart Battery and Skycontroller to add new features and improve stability and performance of the complete system. These updates are mandatory and should systematically be performed prior to any flight to ensure maximum performance and safety. Flying with a non-up to date system may impact or void warranty rights and jeopardize safety requirements.

 


On February 6, 2026 Parrot has launched an update for the ANAFI UKR Series. The update affects the app, the drones, and the GCS controllers.



There are two ways to update Offline (upload .Apk) and Online (download update from app store). 



Online:

Simply navigate to the Google Play Store and download and install the updated Freeflight 8 application v8.3.4.

Once the application is downloaded, open it and install the updates for the drone & controller through the application.
